Basic Info
Name:Lady Madara
Location:United States
Bio
If you feel so empty,
So used up, so let down
If you feel so angry
So ripped off, so stepped on
You're not the only one
Refusing to back down
You're not the only one
So get up

Let's start a riot, a riot

Personality| Madara is hot headed and head strong. She is quick tempered, and often cruel to those she thinks deserves it (which is often debatable). She takes pleasure in playing with her enemies. It is easy to get her riled up, and acting on her anger rather then logic. The controls she had started to crumble with Izuna's death (Izuna often being the calm in the storm that was Madara), and were completely broken by the betrayal of her clan. To say she has a chip on her shoulder in regards to the Uchiha's is putting it mildly. And she's not too fond of the Senju either.

Just as she is a passionate, devoted fighter, she is a passionate, devoted lover. If you are on Madara's good side, she will kill for you (gladly), and die for you. Those she holds dear are few and far between, but viciously guarded when they're found.

She's still wounded by her sisters death. Izuna was Madara's most important person, and the wound is still, despite the years, deep and fresh in Madara's mind. She would have forgiven her clan much, but the allegations that she'd killed Izuna for her own gain are what caused her to snap.

And she did snap. Although not evil, and not a complete nutter, Madara is a bit off in the head. She's currently torn as to where her loyalties lie, and could go either way, but there's something more then a little off within her.

Due to her world, she thinks less of men. Although men were mostly even with woman in their world, despite the woman being the leaders....Madara doesn't see them that way. She wouldn't go so far as to say they're useless, but she is definitely a female chauvinist.

She also has a damned weird sense of humor. It tends to the dark side. She will be the first to make the worst joke about a situation that she can find. She can also be crude, and rough, far from lady like. She may have a softer, delicate side, but if it's there, no one has yet to find it and lived to tell about it.

Background| Madara's world is matriarchal. However, that didn't stop it from being just as war torn and violent as the history of the Naruto we know. In fact, if anything, it made things more ruthless. Far from one to shrink away, Madara stepped up to the challenge. Although this was long before academies for training, she gathered everything she could from the elders in her clan. The fact that she had a slightly younger sister, whom she could spend hours sparring with, helped immensely. The two bounced off each other, growing stronger and stronger as they went, till they rose to the top of the clan and took over, unchallenged. Madara was a strong leader, and the clan thrived.

She ignored the days when it took too long for her to blink away the blurriness of her eyes in the morning. When reoccurring headaches and darkness at the edge of her sight started to happen more and more often, she ignore that as well. It wasn't until she was plunged into black, mid battle, and had to have Izuna pull her out, that she finally confided to her sister what was going on. They talked long into the night, and finally decided for the sake of the clan, it would be better if Madara could lead. Even without her eyes, Izuna was a tactical genius, and could still be valuable, where as Madara's greatest strength was in battle. Madara took her sisters eyes, right before dawn, and made an announcement to the family afterward what had happened.

It did not go smoothly however. Infection set in, and Izuna faded rapidly. Madara, normally someone who's emotions were...hard not to notice, was struck still with grief, the emotions to strong for her to deal with in anyway but to shut them down entirely. Quiet, and cold, she avoid all mention of her sister's existence, until the nights, when she sat alone with Izuna, allowing no one in except medics. One night, she sent everyone away, and the next morning once again left their tent, this time bearing news of her sister's death, and not her loss of sight.

Between Madara's apparent emotionless during her sister's illness, and lack of mourning afterward, as she quickly through herself back into battle, rumors were quick to start about how exactly Izuna had died. They were not helped along by the fact the last medic in the tent, before being sent out by Madara, had said although not near well, Izuna had seemed like she would make it through the night. However, Madara's aggression on the battle field was bringing about rapid changes, and the whispers were let go for the moment as the changes in the political landscape were much bigger.

The Senju clan and the Uchiha clan had both been arguing over the same territory, a rich forest in the Land of Fire. Although they were enemies, Madara and the Senju leader, a strong woman name Hashi, also had a camaraderie and the respect that comes with having fought the same person (often to a draw) so many times. They began to talk, and realized if they joined forces, there was no one in the area who could challenge them. Although she was fond of Hashi, Madara was wary of the Senju clan as a whole. She doubted so much hate could fade so easily. But her clan, exhausted with war, pushed for it, and Madara agreed as their leader, despite her own personal reservations.

And hence Konoha was born. At first everything was going well, and Madara and Hashi found a fast friendship. Although Hashi has not lost her sister, she understood Madara pain, and the way she had dealt with it. They worked well, forming the new village. Slowly, however, more and more differences began to grow between the two. They were easily smoothed over with a friendly joke, but Madara did notice how often the final decision wasn't in her favor. So it didn't come as a surprise when Hashi was chosen as the first Hokage, but that didn't mean it went down any easier. From then on, she saw slights toward the Uchiha clan everywhere, the real and the imagined. She called clan meetings, trying to rally her people to stand up for themselves, to not submit so easily.

She was called power hungry. Controlling. Out of hand. Her leadership skills were called into question, whether she was only fit to lead at war time (And whether she had even been fit to lead then) And the most cutting, the silent but not forgotten doubt about Izuna's death, and how natural it had or hadn't been. Those against her didn't take long to blame her sisters death on Madara's hunger for power.

That was when Madara walked out, and never looked back, the want to take revenge on the Uchiha clan, the Senju clan, and anyone else who got in the way already boiling within her. And ended up in some strange, twisted Konoha, much farther along then the one she'd walked out of.

Physical Description Madara is, for a woman, tall. At 5'8" she is what one would call statuesque. Although shapely, she is anything but soft. Her muscles have been trained and tested in battle after battle. She wields her large weapon with grace and ease.

Her face is not beautiful, but not unattractive. She has deep set eyes with dark circles under them constantly, bruised into her pale skin, and a wide mouth just on the other side of normal. Her hair, wild and messy, halos around her face. She is not drop dead gorgeous, but there's something appealing about her, and she knows it.
